About

I was born in Lausanne, Switzerland and raised in Wolcott, Connecticut. After graduating high school as salutatorian, I went on to pursue a college degree at Cornell University, initially in physics and astronomy before switching to English and creative writing in my senior year. I hold many poets in high regard and take inspiration from a good number as well, including Dylan Thomas, W. B. Yeats, Edgar Allan Poe, A. R. Ammons, Thomas Hardy, Gerard Hopkins, Li Bai, and Robert Frost. I have an interest in poetry from the Romantic period onward. I write and study writing in order to fully experience life, for every poem paints a new angle. I seek to capture feelings and ideas with less tangible or explicable qualities, like nostalgia or the sublime.

Projects

My debut chapbook, Vale, is recently published by Kelsay Books! My second chapbook, heart-beat, is currently in the works, expecting publication before the end of 2026. There And There Again, my first full-length collection, is currently in the works, with a central theme of time. I am also in the process of editing an anthology of poems which are considered the last poems of their respective poets’ lives, called The Dying of the Light: An Anthology of Poets’ Last Poems.
